Hi, I’m Lucy, your local curly coat expert!
Whilst qualifying in dog grooming during the boom of doodle dogs, I’ve learnt lots of tricks and tips to help doodles and their owners maintain their gorgeous but high maintenance coats.
Whether you’re looking to keep your poodle-crossbreed’s coat long and curly, or short but chic, you’ve come to the right place!
I’ve made it my mission to help make sure doodles never have to endure the dreaded shave off, with my specially designed coat care plans where together we come up with a length and style to suit you and your dogs’ lifestyle, and most importantly how to maintain it with ease.
My mobile, in-home service means you get to be a part of the groom as much as you like; from choosing an exact length and style, to seeing your dog handled with care where they feel safest.
What makes Dinky Doodles Professional Styling different from your traditional dog grooming service?
All grooms at Dinky Doodles include my signature K.I.N.D. system (Kindness, Individual, Natural and Doodle Specialist). This ensures every dog has the best experience possible during their groom whilst looking and smelling great at the end of it. And what’s more, you don’t even need to leave your home! Your dog can feel comforted in getting straight into their bed or running in their garden when their groom is done.
My Signature K.I.N.D. System
Kindness – Kindness and patience throughout the one-to-one styling process. Your dog’s happiness and welfare is really important to me; I use a range of force-free techniques to make them feel at ease and never rush a dog through their groom.
Individual – All dogs are treated as individuals at Dinky Doodles. The styling process is tailored to your dog’s requirements, whether they need a cute but practical trim for those woodland walks, or a conditioning treatment for long, luscious and tangle-free curls.
Natural – I only use products with natural ingredients – no parabens, no sulphates or other nasties – and that are 100% cruelty-free, vegan and environmentally friendly. These hand-picked shampoos and treatments are guaranteed to leave your pet smelling better than ever while naturally improving their skin and coat.
Doodle specialist – Doodle specialist cuts for poodle cross breeds. Never worry about your doodle getting the shave-down with a professional, tailored grooming schedule in the comfort of your home, by someone trained in doodle cuts. There’s even my unique service ‘Keep knots at bay’ for in between grooms to save you hours of brushing!
